On 30th September 2026, GFM Radio officially celebrates its first year on air.

What started as a local radio station with a big ambition has grown into a station built around music, local talent, new voices and, most importantly, our listeners. Over the past year, GFM Radio has continued to grow, bringing you music and entertainment from Gretna and Dumfries & Galloway to listeners both locally and further afield.

To mark our first birthday, we’re celebrating in true GFM style with our BIGGEST WEEKEND EVER.

THE GFM RADIO 1ST BIRTHDAY WEEKENDER

From Friday 25th September to Saturday 26th September, GFM Radio will be taking over the airwaves for two huge days of special programming, guest mixes, exclusive sets and birthday celebrations.

Expect a packed weekend of music, featuring some very special guests alongside the GFM Radio team, with a line-up that we’ll be revealing over the coming days.

Whether you’re at home, heading out, on the road, working, or simply looking for the perfect soundtrack to your weekend, we’ll be bringing you something special throughout the two-day celebration.

And with GFM Radio continuing to grow, this weekend is more than just a birthday. It’s a celebration of everything we’ve achieved during our first year and a look ahead to what’s still to come.

LINE-UP COMING SOON

We’re keeping the full line-up under wraps for now, but announcements will be coming soon.

Keep checking the GFM Radio website and our social media channels as we reveal the DJs, special guests and programming joining us across the weekend.

There’s plenty more to come.
